Dabei erzeugen ihre ausgeschlagenen Räder und der geplagte Motor, jammernde, mitleiderregende Geräusche. Auf einer Bühne platziert und durch zwei Expander in deren Mitte fixiert, wird sie zum Statthalter jener Menschen, die es ohne performatives Talent und Chuzpe ins Rampenlicht drängt, was ihrem Publikum ein eher bizarres, denn kulturelles Vergnügen bereitet. Karaoke “Karaoke” "Karaoke" consist of a sheet-metal barrel on wheels, which is set into circular motion by a battery-driven motor which moves an eccentrically mounted weight inside the barrel. Thereby, the troubled motor and the misaligned wheels generate whimpering and pitiful sounds. Strapped to the center of a stage by two bungee cords, the barrel becomes the representation of those humans, who are drawn to the limelight without performing talent or chutzpah, producing more of a bizarre rather than cultural pleasure for their public.
