CAS-Boards Compressed-Art-Shredder-Boards, kurz CAS-Boards habe ich jene Platten genannt, die aus dem Material gefertigt werden, das am Ende von Alter Sack, von meinen Leinwandbildern übrig blieb. Die Idee dieser Arbeit war ja schließlich nicht mehr zeigbare Bilder wieder in eine ausstellungswürdige Form zu bringen. Mit großem technischem Aufwand werden die Schredderteile in Kunststoff gegossen. Die Größe der Platten variiert dabei, je nachdem ob sie als Multiple oder Tafelbild fungieren soll, zwischen dem Format einer DVD-Hülle und zwei Quadratmetern. CAS-Boards I have named Compressed-Art-Shredder-Boards, or CAS-Boards the panels created out of the material gained from “Old Baggage”, my shredded paintings. The idea of this work was to transform pictures that were no longer worth showing into presentable products for an art exhibition. The shredded parts were therefore poured into plastic in a very involved technical process. Depending on whether a panel was to function as one of multiple or as a unique work of art, the size varies between the format of a DVD case and two square meters.
